Announcing the "Romans 9:18 Conference"

Rhett Kelley Ministries Presents:

The Romans 9:18 Conference

Nov 6 and 7, 2008 at location T.B.A.

Did Jesus die on the cross for every person? Was I elected because I selected? Is God really sovereign? Did Calvin really murder Servetus? These and many other questions will be addressed.

This conference is not going to be a "Let's bash the Arminians" conference. This conference is going to be a biblical and theological assessment of and response to the inconsistencies of the "majoritarian" view of soteriology in the SBC and other Baptist movements. It will be helpful for lay people as well as preachers.

  • $95 for conference only.
  • $110 for the conference with two meals (dinner Nov. 6; breakfast Nov. 7)

Featuring: (exact schedule to be posted later)

I hope this is close to me! I just missed Dr. White in VA for a debate!

This is the only conference that I've ever seen that looks like it'd be worth the money...

keep us informed..

My first comment above was insufficient to express my disgust at this post, and the fact that it turns out to be not-for-real.

Disgust does not even begin to describe my feelings right now!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!!

Sorry guys...

Believe me. If I had the connections and resources to pull off this kind of conference, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Perhaps someone with the means could put it together?? ;)

Oh, puh-lease, now out comes the justifying link...

Why do you think we got all excited? Because we know all about that conference already!!

You start that car yet?

Well Rhett has the brains to think up such a conference, if he only knew the right people in the SBC, has pastored for over 30 years, severed on an SBC committee, or been a SBC presidential candidate, he might could pull it off.

Well I'm glad this conference was based on satire...I wasn't sure who that Rhett fella was... (LOL)

Scribe, I had a long day but your comment had me laughing!

Gordan, I'm glad you won't let Rhett wiggle out on what he did. Send in the Borg!

My feelings are hurt, I didn't get invited to speak. ;)

Gordan said...

Rev. I'm pretty sure you're scheduled to lead three break-out sessions, so be of good cheer.

Gordan:
Thanks for the heads up! ;)

I noticed on the updated conference deal they state, "This conference is not going to be a 'Let's bash the Calvinists' conference. This conference is going to be a biblical and theological assessment of and response to 5-point Calvinism." I hope that holds true.
